With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of ReSurge board member and dear friend, Tyson Clark, who passed away on December 8, 2021.
Tyson was an extraordinary individual who was deeply committed to supporting our mission to provide life-changing surgical care to patients with the greatest need around the world. Tyson was incredibly accomplished and respected in his community. He was a loving father, a proud Navy veteran, a champion of diversity, a devoted humanitarian, and a revered General Partner at Google Ventures.
Tyson joined the ReSurge board in 2016, and took an active role in its leadership shortly thereafter. He was Treasurer and chair of the finance committee for four years and had only recently taken over the chairmanship of the audit committee. We were privileged to have Tyson in our ReSurge family. Tyson was intelligent, incisive, warm, humorous, and a true force for good in this world.
Our deepest condolences go to Tyson’s family. He was loved and admired beyond measure. Tyson will be greatly missed by all of us at ReSurge International and we know his impact in this world will be felt for generations.
