A Letter From ReSurge President & CEO

Greetings from ReSurge,

It is with great appreciation and bittersweet emotions that I announce the retirement of Beverly Kent, our Chief Operations Officer. Bev retired on June 30, 2024, after 28 years of exceptional service to ReSurge International. Bev was pivotal in increasing access to reconstructive surgery worldwide for thousands of patients, who may not have otherwise received life-changing care. For Bev, “the patient” was always at the heart of her passion, her priorities, and her leadership.

In addition to helping to transform the lives of thousands of patients, Bev deeply impacted the careers and lives of hundreds of surgical partners, medical volunteers, and ReSurge staff over nearly three decades.

As I personally witnessed during our recent trip to Nepal and India, the relationships Bev cultivated with our international staff and partners over the years were anchored in deep affection and mutual respect. What a joy it was to share in all the retirement celebrations hosted in her honor!

The Beverly Kent Fund has been established in her honor to support ReSurge’s vital work, to which Bev devoted her extraordinary career. We invite you to celebrate Bev’s legacy of service by making a gift to the fund today.

Our heartfelt thanks and best wishes go out to Bev as she enters this exciting new chapter of her life! We also extend our sincere thanks to you for considering a gift in her honor.

With gratitude,

Claire Lachance
