ReSurge International’s 2024 Transformations Gala is a night of hope celebrating our mission to build, scale, and sustain reconstructive surgical capacity to provide life-changing care to those with the greatest need.
Proceeds will benefit the life-changing work we are doing across the globe to close the gap to reconstructive surgical care once and for all.
ReSurge’s annual gala is attended by up to 400 guests, including world-renowned reconstructive surgeons, venture capitalists, as well as Silicon Valley philanthropists.

Professor Godfrey Muguti
Professor Muguti is the immediate past President of COSECSA | The College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa, Professor of Surgery and Professorial Chair in the Department of Surgical Sciences at the University of Zimbabwe. He is also a Clinical Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine and Medical Director at The Avenues Clinic in Harare.
Professor Muguti’s partnership with ReSurge has been instrumental in our joint efforts to build surgical capacity in Sub-Saharan Africa.
